Petterino's focus is on creating special dishes with simple and classic ingredients. The menu has an extensive list of "comfort foods" created for Petterino's. In addition to its regular menu, the restaurant offers pre-theater and after-work specials as well as power lunches for the downtown business community. Celebrating the glamour and excitement of past decades, Petterino's offers Chicagoans a glimpse from the 1940's. Named after Arturo Petterino, the long time maitre d' of Chicago's famed Pump Room, the man who catered to the stars and socialites of decades gone by, Petterino's pays homage to past, present and future Chicago legends. Arturo Petterino spent his lifetime providing the best service for some of the world's most visible people including Frank Sinatra and Elizabeth Taylor.
